We have plugged into the largest node traffic exchange in Poland!

On 25.10.2011, after long efforts, we managed to connect  to the largest node traffic exchange in Poland :). Okay, cool but what it means for our customers? And what exactly is the node?

As you probably know the Internet is composed of a large number of  big and small networks connected with eachother. Some of them operate locally (like us), others on the national scale (GTS, Crowley, Netia), others on a global scale (NTT, Global Crossing). Tiny networks are just touching the nodes exchange traffic.

And what does this mean for our customers? First and foremost, this means that we have become a grown-up ISP. However, a possibility of connecting it to such a node must be preceded by many formal and technical terms. Above all such maturity means being able to create the infrastructure  beneficial for all concerned. Furthermore, participation in the contact section provides:

Faster access to Internet resources - we are no longer your reseller service a larger company, but we connect directly to the Internet. For example until 25th going to the homepage for example meant connecting onet.pl through 5 routers. Currently there is no need - we are directly connected to the onet.

Greater resilience - especially those for operator terminals. If such a route to the Onet  so far ran through the points A (us), B, CD (operators nationwide links) and if the accident took place between point C and D were helpless. At this time in the event of such an accident, thanks to the use of dynamic routing simply "alone" will change the route that connects us with onet.

Direct contact with the provider of the content of television - television will reach us quickly, directly, bypassing the queues of traffic, the transmission will be considerably more resistant to interference.

Big chance for a better deal - buy access to the internet it is not problematic, trouble begins when we provide internet to each other :). In point of traffic exchange, we have access to all providers of traffic as a result, we can pick the offers :). And it gives you a chance to further changes (for better) in our offer.
